The Viswa Mahavidhyalaya at  kanchi  was estabilished with the blessings of their holiness Pujyasri  Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji and Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji and it attained the status of deemed university in 1993.

 

 

 Sri Chandraseharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidhyalaya, formed under the aegis of Sri Kanchi  Kamakoti Peetam charitable trust in 1993, is located in a sprawling complex of  50 acres at Enathur, at a distance of about 4 kilometers from kanchipuram.

 

 

The university has a campus in Poonamalle, Chennai, housing an ayurveda college,research centre and hospital. The university has a unique focus on integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific practices with a global outlook.

 

 

 

 

       Department 

The Department Of Civil & Structural engineering was established in 2009. The goal of Civil & Structural Engineering is to educate students and prepare them to become potential chartered civil engineers who possess appropriate knowledge, Skills and understanding, and who are confident in their abilities, are highly valued by their employees and make a positive contribution to society. The department offers B.E civil & structural full time and Ph.D part time. the department caters to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Civil & Structural engineering.
